Key Responsibilities:

 The successful candidate will ensure quality standards are met throughout the project by conducting inspections, supporting design reviews, and assisting with technical guidance to the project team. They will manage material compliance, address non-conformance issues, and contribute to quality improvements, while also supporting Civil/Structural design aspects and site safety compliance

·        Perform comprehensive QA/QC inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

·        Review and assess design documents, drawings, specifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes.

·        Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to package managers and project teams to ensure all quality requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

·        Oversee compliance with project plans, specifications, and contractual obligations, ensuring quality in all materials, equipment, and construction processes.

·        Ensure that all incoming materials and fabricated items meet specified standards and quality requirements.

·        Conduct regular audits and inspections to proactively identify and address non-conformance issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented where necessary.

·        Identify opportunities for improvement in the quality management system to optimize project delivery and overall performance.

·        Provide technical support related to Civil/Structural aspects of the project, ensuring alignment with design and construction standards.

·        Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) estimates to ensure accurate cost assessments and resource planning, supporting the development of the owner’s claims as required.

·        Monitor and evaluate site activities for compliance with safety standards and regulations.

·        Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the project management team.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor

  • Major: Construction/Engineering/Management

 

Years of Experience Required:

·        at least 5 years of work experience as a project engineer, preferably in a Power or Renewable Energy company

·        with at least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader

 

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and Tagalog is required

  • Capable of clearly conveying task requirements and the criticality of activities to contractors, ensuring alignment and timely execution.

  • Able to perform tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability.

  • Able to leverage technical knowledge to enhance construction methodologies, driving efficiency and quality improvements.

  • Confident in contributing ideas and providing valuable input during discussions, fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Demonstrates a strong proactive mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for growth and skill development in the project field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel from time to time

  • Immediate availability is a plus·       

  • Willing to be relocated and work at construction site

 

Work Location: Kalayaan Laguna, Philippines

 

Employment Package:

·        Contract Status: Project-coterminous, 6 months of probation
