Key Responsibilities:
· Represent the company and develop/continue strong relationships with local stakeholders (landowners, land occupants, local government units including but not limited to NGOs, institutions, etc.).
· Work as part of a collaborative team, facilitating cooperation with team members as needed.
· Maintain thorough knowledge of all lot and land transactions within the target service contract area.
· Maintain good relationships with landowners and other stakeholders within the community.
· Organize, support, and attend stakeholder meetings such as public hearings and public consultations on behalf of the company.
· Conduct surveys to identify the socio-economic profile of a community.
· Facilitate third-party social and environmental-related surveys as deemed necessary.
· Maintain complete and accurate records and statistics to develop meaningful reports from this
information.
· Conduct basic periodic ESG reports and monitor E&S (Environmental & Social) practices at the site.
· Any other tasks relating to ESG as deemed necessary.
· Position is based on the project site with frequent travel to other project site locations.
Additional Requirements:
Social responsibilities:
Liaise with stakeholders and the local community.
Develop and implement community engagement/ CSR programs.
Implement the grievance mechanism plan and manage grievances raised by local communities
regarding project activities.Facilitate environmental and social surveys.
Ensure consultations with stakeholders are conducted in accordance with relevant policies and
guidelines.Support or provide ESG training to the Project Team members.
Environmental responsibilities:
Monitor compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and company policies.
Support environmental surveys and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee waste management, water usage, and environmental protection initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve environmental performance (waste management, water use, EHS practices, ect.).
Governance responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and ethical business practices.
Assist in reporting ESG performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
Support audits and due diligence processes related to sustainability.
Support ESG training programs for employees.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s degree
Major: Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social background or other related fields
Years of Experience Required:
· at least 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related roles
Essential Skills and Requirements:
· Strong understanding of Philippines environmental laws and international ESG standards.
· Basic knowledge of social and environmental requirements in Philippines’s regulations.
· Experience in social work, stakeholder engagement, community engagement, and CSR.
· Ability to manage and resolve grievances from local communities.
· Experience with IFC Performance Standards is a plus.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Candidates with experience in TBC business activities, TBC policy, and process will be considered a plus
· Ability to work on-site in remote locations and travel as needed.
· Proficiency in Filippino (native language) and English
· Immediate availability is a plus
Work Location: Kalayaan, Laguna Philippines (CALABARZON)
